Go Cougars

September 30th, 2007

So we took the kids to their first college football game last night. BYU was in ABQ playing the UNM Lobos, so we got some friends together to get group rate tickets and went to the game. The kids all had a great time (and Tyghe even slept through some of it!). We left during the 3rd quarter when BYU was ahead 21-6. We listened to the last of the game on the radio during the drive home to hear the final score of 31-24. It was certainly a different experience being among the few in blue among the sea of red! lol You’ll have to excuse the quality of the pics…we didn’t bring the camera in, so this is just what Justin took with my cell phone.

Zeph also had his 2nd soccer game of the season yesterday morning. He made one goal that I’m aware of. This is my favorite pic from the game, but you can see more on his 7 year page.

What’s really cool is that this game was out on one of the mesas, so you can see the mountains we live on in the background. Amazing how green everything is due to all of the rain we’ve been having. Certainly not the norm.

In other news – we are still making (somewhat slow) progress on our bathroom. The walls are painted, light fixture and medicine cabinet/mirror in, floor tiled and 2/3 of shower tiled. Yesterday Justin got the freshly painted door in, along with most of the special door jamb. Here’s a little sneak peak…
