appointment

I just found out yesterday that I was appointed to the County Parks and Recreation board by the County Council. I interviewed at least a month ago, and figured they appointed someone else since I hadn’t heard anything. But, being Los Alamos, they are just slow and only notified me via email. This should be an interesting new experience, although I must be crazy for taking this on right now.
Other exciting news – they are opening a new Kohls in Santa Fe tomorrow! Lots of us up here are quite excited about it.
