Thankful
The biggest thing we were thankful for yesterday would have to be Ada Jane, on her 3rd birthday.

click for more pics – and to see the sweater jacket I crocheted for her
You could also say we were thankful for the nice weather we *had* been having. This morning we woke up to about 6 inches of snow! Being Tyghe’s first real snow, we had to take lots of pics.

Tyghe even got to sled down the driveway with Caemlyn.
Notice Tyghe’s hat? I made it for him a couple nights ago since I knew the temps would be dropping.

Thanksgiving was quite uneventful here, as it was just our family. We did have lots of yummy food, and birthday pumpkin pie. Wonder if Ada will go for that the next time her birthday falls on Thanksgiving? Tyghe slept through our meal, but he did enjoy the little bit of sweet potato casserole I fed him later…and the whipped cream I let him taste from my pie.

Cute cute hat for Tyghe and Happy Birthday to miss Ada! What fun to have pumpkin pie for your birthday! Oh, and the snow looks like fun! Des Moines got 4 inches, but we have not yet had a chance to see it as we are in sunny (well foggy ) California! Have fun sledding!
I am thankful for Miss Ada Jane too. Eventhough my birthday is not anywhere near Thanksgiving, I would request pumpkin pie for my birthday cake when I was a kid. Love Tyghe’s hat – looks like a little Jew Boy!
Happy Birthday Ada! I love her sweater jacket…not sure on the fashion lingo but I love how it drops down in the back and the swirly sleaves, neck and front…really wonderful. Tyghe is absolutely adorable and just looks so kissable! I love the photo of him and Justin. How priceless, him looking at his Dad.
