4 Weeks

Caemlyn saw the Ortho today and he said her leg is looking good. He gave her the green light to put full weight on it and walk on it. He gave her 4 more weeks with the cast though. Her next appointment is on February 19th - and if all looks good on the x-ray, she will be FREE!

Yippee! Glad things are moving along as they should be. In the pic modeling the monster bag, it looks like she has on a walking boot. Is it? How is bathing going?
It’s just a simple sandal to protect the cast and her toes so she can stand/walk. She takes it off for showering and when she goes to bed. Plastic bag over the cast and using the hand held shower seem to be working just fine. Until she was allowed to put weight on it, we just put a step ladder in the shower for her to sit on. No problems.
