Flu
I feel awful. Caemlyn got sick last Sunday and missed a day of school, then the other kids started getting sick with similar symptoms. It wasn’t until I got it Thursday night that I knew what they had – the flu! Ugh. I guess kids (at least mine) just aren’t as affected by it as I am as they never complained of body aches or the like as part of their symptoms. They did have headaches though and most of them threw up at least once. Most of them are on the mend with just a cough/runny nose left, but I’m still feeling awful, as is Tyghe. Tyghe didn’t get sick until Friday night, but he’s done a lot of throwing up. I’ve had to limit his bottles to 2 oz. at a time about every hour to keep him from puking it all right back up. Of course, like me, he doesn’t have much of an appetite anyway. I do think our fevers may have finally subsided, so maybe he’ll start sleeping a bit more and allow me to do the same?
I finished several projects before getting sick that I need to finish taking pics of and get posted. But, that will have to wait.

I’m sorry to hear your sick. February has been a terrible sick month at our house and I’m glad that it’s almost over. I had days where I felt like I didn’t get anything done but later I realized that holding my babies while they are sick is more important than laundry that’s piling up and will always be there. I hope you feel better soon. This has been a LONG winter. I wish spring would get here so we can be outside!
You have my utmost sympathies – as we have had the flu too! We never ever get the flu, but it nailed us this time. Dad had a fever of 101* for 3 days, and I made him go to the PA to make sure it wasn’t pneumonia. PA said it was classic flu. I did all I could to keep from getting it, but it got me on Sat. I don’t seem to have it as bad as dad, but the fever just makes you feel awful. Hope you are beginning to mend.
No fun. Jackson has been sick the past couple days too and seems much better today. We got the blankie and we love it. It’s perfect. Thank you.
Hi Megan! I am sorry you are all sick! Hope things can get back to normal soon! It was fun to see your site! Your family is so cute! Yes, Tom’s parents still live in White Rock and his brother just graduated from Dental school and is practicing there, you should go to him, he is awesome!! Reed Cannon. Anyway, it will be fun to keep up with you guys!
We have been very blessed to avoid the flu so far this year. I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been hit so hard. I hope we can continue to dodge the bullet, at least until Cory and I get back from England. We leave next Thursday.
Hey Megan! It’s so fun to hear from you and to see pictures of your children. Congratulations, on your two additions since I last saw you! Sorry to hear about being sick. Hope you all feel better soon!
