Ada Jane

May 29th, 2008

Since Ada was my only child not mentioned in my goals post, I figured I’d write one just for her. Being 3, she’s not involved in many activities like the big kids, or reaching milestones, like Tyghe. BUT, she certainly keeps me on my toes! She is one smart cookie. We’ve been working on teaching her to recognize her letters, and in the process, she learned to write her name. Granted, it doesn’t get much easier than ADA, but I was still impressed. She has big, beautiful, hazel eyes that light up the room when she smiles. I can usually see in them when she’s hiding something as well…which seems to be quite often lately. She’s turned into my little clepto, so we’re working on teaching her not to take things that aren’t hers. I read somewhere recently that lying in young children is a sign of intelligence – I hope that’s it, and not something worse! lol

If lying is a sign of intelligence, Melina is a genius! (Must run in the family!) She sure is cute!

What a sweet post! What a sweet little girl! Meanwhile, Hannah looked at me the other day and said, “Mama, I just getting into mischief”…I said, “Ok, thanks for letting me know!” :) Sounds like the girls are going to have a great time together at the reunion :) , we can’t wait!

I just want to eat her. She is a doll – lies and all. I agree that lying is intelligence. Or rather maybe equitable to cleverness.
