Back to School
Today was (finally) the first day of school. Yippee! All of the kids were so excited, they were up at 6:00am. Caemlyn is now in 4th grade, and has a brand new teacher fresh from college. Zeph is in 3rd and got the teacher he was hoping for - with tadpoles in the classroom. And Kezia finally got to start Kindergarten! - with the best K teacher ever. It’s half days all week, but they came home with glowing reports of how great school was. And no, I’m not joking. I took all sorts of pics this morning before school, and of Kezia going to K - but sadly, there was no memory card in the camera. However, I figured that out soon enough to get some of them this afternoon. It’s still the first day of school… They were much more cooperative this morning though, so all of the pics came out something like this
Individual pics of the kids will be posted in their own web albums. I must add that I think Ada may have been just as excited for Kezia to go to school as Kezia was. With a Sept. 7 birthday, it’s been a long year waiting for this opportunity. I was also thrilled that I could pull the double jogging stroller back out and take the little ones for a long walk/jog. Pulling a bike trailer (need to get one) up these hills would do a lot for my tri training as well.

Megan - I love Zeph’s mohawk - and even more I love that you let him do it. Oh, I could go on and on - but I think that shows how awesome you are as a mother to let your kids to some fun experiments. Three in school! Wow! Congrats on getting to break out the double stroller too!

I am especially happy for Miss Kez! I dunno about the mohawk - maybe if it were dyed electric green? It is cool Ada was excited for Kez, or was she excited to be the oldest at home? I miss those kiddles
I am so jealous they are in school already. Onemore day for me. and bummer about the camera—I have done that too occasionally. I have even deleted before download too. Oops! Mom brain! Good for you to get the jogger out! I guess I need a triple, ha! baby, asher and Mara (2 more years to go for her)
My kids went back to school last week too. It’s been heavenly!! I’ve been organizing like crazy and catching up on my long to do list. I can’t believe Kezia and Gabby are both in Kindergarten. Kezia is so much more mature. I hope she’s able to move up to 1st grade.
I mailed your castle cake pan back to you today along with your brush you lost at the family reunion (can’t remember where we found it) and a little something Sara made for Caemlynn.

Wow–going back to school…I remember those days…I’d still like someone to take me school shopping!
The kids in San Diego start on Monday and I think my sister is looking forward to it!! Anyway–congrats on your tri too…they get addicting.
Rockin hair on Zeph. You’re got one more in school that me. In 4 years all my kids will be in school, complete with Croydon and Callie in the same grade! It’s nice to have school in again.
