Halloween
We had a very nice Halloween, and the kids looked cute as ever in their costumes. Thursday night we went to the ward Trunk or Treat and chili dinner. Friday night we decided to skip our annual Trick or Treat at the hospital and stuck to the Trick or Treat on mainstreet. After dinner, the older kids also did a loop of our neighborhood. We have way too much candy! More importantly, on to the pics…
Tyghe as the Big Bad Wolf

Ada as Belle (I made her entire costume from scratch – no pattern at all. Pretty proud of myself.)

Kezia as Little Red Riding Hood

Zephram as a sage (totally his idea)

Caemlyn as a black pixie (she made her tutu and we both made her wings – that don’t show up too well in the pic)

I was glad when it was all over as I had lots to do to get ready for a craft bazaar that I was participating in yesterday. Didn’t sell much, but I do have orders for several items from friends. Not sure what to do with some of the extras (that aren’t going to the kids) – maybe anther giveaway???

Megan-those costumes are so cute. Homeade costumes are so much cuter. Very cute pictures, your kids are so grown up.
Very cute kids! A Sage huh? Are you sure he just didn’t want to be our dead dog? So what kind of stuff did you make for the craft bazaar? And was this a community thing or something for church?
love them every bit! i think my favorite is that big bad wolf, but Tyghe has a bit of an advantage still being so small and snuggly looking
beautful belle dress, Megan…awesome!
read…”beautiful”
Cute, cute, cute! (I love them all, I wish I had a quarter of your talent)
I love all the costumes! Your kids are so adorable!
Talented, talented, talented! But them again that probably isn’t news to anyone. My favorite costume is the big bad wolf!! What a cutie!! They all look great!
Wow! The kids’ costumes are great. You’ve definitely got some amazing sewing skillz.
No seriously, if we lived closer I’d be heading up a 4-h group at your house and I would be the number one participant…I really want to learn to sew…but it scares me. I have started a quiet book so I’ll post pictures when I’m done with it…it’s turning out cute…but I haven’t started the sewing part yet…we’ll see how it goes! those costumes are GREAT!
