Winterfest
This weekend was the annual Winterfest with a variety of activities that we don’t participate in. However, we always go to the free breakfast with Santa that Kiwanis puts on at the Senior Center. They even take free pics with Santa (who badly needs a new wig and beard). Tyghe was OK until I tried putting him on Santa’s lap, so this was the result. Don’t ask what Zeph’s problem was. lol
We also went to the very neat light parade downtown. They shut off all of the street lights and the parade is lit up with tons of twinkle lights. It’s usually freezing cold during the parade, but this year it wasn’t too bad since it got up to 50 degrees today. Since it’s quite dark, I didn’t get any pics to share. I guess I could take a pic of the pile of little candy canes the kids came away with. Tyghe was mesmerized by all of the lights and watched the whole thing (it’s not very long) without complaint.
